ELSACO – ATLANTIS HYDROTEC
Elsaco – Atlantis Hydrotec is the support technology for the implementation of the water loss detection solution using acoustic sensitive optical fiber. This allows the monitoring of the water pipe infrastructure for flooded manholes and cast iron covers, locating seismic or vibration stresses that affect pipes over time, unauthorized manual or automated work, and illegal connections or micro cracks in pipes.
n 10 seconds events affecting the infrastructure can be detected, with a location accuracy of less than 5 meters from a detection field of 50km. They are detected by optical fiber and reported automatically and immediately to the dispatcher.
The technology is also integrated into perimeter security solutions using optical fiber installed underground as a vibration-sensitive longitudinal sensor.
